Beetlejuice sequel is going to be released on September 6 2024, and we are excited! The iconic Beetlejuice Bettlejuice sequel is coming to cinemas starring Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton and others.
The original horror comedy Beetlejuice movie was released in 1988 and follows a dead couple, Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) who are trying to scare away a family that has moved into their old home so enlist the help of exorcist Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), the hilarious and sleazy ghost with selfish intentions.
In this highly-anticipated follow-up to the movie three generations of the Deetz family return home to a haunted house populated by ghosts. Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid Deetz, accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife, and unleashes all kinds of spooky chaos, just like her mother. It’s only a matter of time until Lydia says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the troublesome ghost returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

In the original 1988 movie, Tim Burton-directed Beetlejuice cast Michael Keaton as a charismatic and cunning “bio-exorcist” who was hired by a recently deceased married couple who want to scare off new homebuyers from taking their house.

The Golden Globe winner appeared in the original for about 17 minutes, and he maintained that he doesn’t want to be in the sequel for much longer because he believes “a lot of Betelgeuse” would only get tiresome quickly.
